Job Description

Class 1 HGV ADR Tanker Driver
Your own truck, weekly pay and the potential to earn over £62,500+ a year – join a family-run business
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Widnes
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, with 4 nights out a week
Salary: £62,500 per year based on 10 hours’ OT/week, 4 nights out and £2,400 of bonuses – more if weekends and additional overtime are worked

The Role:
You’ll start out alongside one of our experienced HGV driver trainers, learning how to safely deliver and collect a range of chemicals.
  * All PPE for your training is issued to you before you start.
  * Every week brings a different job – no two days are the same.
  * You’re paid for every hour worked, as per your tachograph, including breaks.
  * Jobs are allocated throughout the week by email and our transport team, so good communication – flagging any delays, issues, or relevant info – keeps everything running smoothly.
What You’ll Need:
  * A keen, efficient approach and sound safe working practices.
  * ADR licence in tanks, all classes except 1 & 7.
  * A genuine focus on your own health and safety, and that of the people around you.
  * Valid digital tachograph.
  * Up-to-date CPC card.
