Job Description
We are currently looking for a number of Class 1 Drivers for our client based in Preston.
Duties
* Operate and drive a Refrigerated lorry to deliver goods to designated locations.
* Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, securing it properly for transport.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and vehicle maintenance reports.
* Follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
* Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.
Candidates must have a valid Class 1 License, CPC and Taco.
02:00-03:00 am start times.
Night rate paid between the hours of 0200 and 0500
Pay is
Days: £15.40 - £17.26 per hour.
