Class 1 HGV Driver – General Haulage (Aldridge, WS8)
Location: Aldridge, West Midlands (WS8)
Pay: £16.00 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday, early starts (04:00–05:00)
Nights Out: Occasional
Job Overview:
We are urgently hiring a Class 1 HGV Driver for a general haulage role based in Aldridge (WS8). This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers looking for Monday to Friday work with early starts and no weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for general haulage deliveries across the UK
* Ensuring safe, timely, and compliant transport of goods
* Completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining cleanliness
* Occasional nights out depending on delivery routes
Requirements:
* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
* Up-to-date CPC and Digi Tacho card
* Minimum 6 months of recent HGV driving experience preferred
* Good understanding of UK road networks and driver regulations
* Reliable, professional, and safety-focused
