Job Title: Class 1 HGV Night Driver (Temp to Perm)
Location: Redditch
Salary: £43,610 per annum (based on a 48-hour week) + Overtime
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Working Hours: 48 hours per week (night shifts) + overtime available
Overview:
We are currently looking for experienced and professional Class 1 HGV Night Drivers to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis. This role offers consistent night work, a competitive salary, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a respected logistics operation.
Sun- Thurs or Tues- Sat
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out scheduled night-time deliveries and collections using Class 1 (C+E) vehicles
* Conduct pre- and post-shift vehicle checks in line with safety regulations
* Ensure timely and safe transportation of goods across designated routes
* Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and digital records
* Comply with UK driving laws, Working Time Directive, and tachograph regulations
* Maintain a professional and courteous approach with clients and colleagues
Requirements:
* Full UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
* Valid CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
* Previous Class 1 driving experience required
* Good understanding of UK road networks
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of safety and service
* Flexible with working hours and available for overtime
