Job Description
Are you a Class 1 HGV Driver looking for night work in Leeds and the surrounding area? Are you looking for ongoing work up to at least Christmas? Are you looking for Trunking work?
If so Driver Hire Leeds East may have the work for you.
We are currently recruiting 2 x Drivers to work for our client on a Tuesday to Saturday rota and a Sunday to Thursday rota.
Job description: The work will be either swapping trailers from Wakefield, Crew and Stoke or Trailer swaps to and from Birkenhead or Holyhead docks. As this work includes dock work, all drivers must have no criminal record and be able to pass a random drugs test.
Start time: 4PM
Requirements
* You will be required to pass a driver assessment prior to commencement of the contract, this is to ensure you are able to safely reverse and drive the required vehicles.
* Must hold a Category C+E driving licence
* Must have at least 6 months Class 1 HGV driving experience
* Must have no more than 6 penalty points on licence
* We don't accept any driver who has been previously banned for Drink or Drug driving
* We don't accept any current T99 Endorsements for totting up points
* Must be able to work a fixed rota of Tuesday to Saturday
Pay
* Tuesday to Friday - Day - £18.50 + holiday pay = £20.73 per hour
* Tuesday to Friday - Nights - £20.50 + holiday pay = £22.97 per hour
* Saturday -Day - £23.13 + holiday pay = £25.92
* Saturday - Nights - £25.63 + holiday pay = £28.72 per hour
Expected hours per week: 45-50hours
