Job Description
Berry Recruitment is seeking a reliable and experienced C1 or C2 Hiab Driver to support a leading plumbing supplies distributor. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term stability for the right candidate and a chance to become a valued member of a well-established team.
Role Overview:
You'll be responsible for delivering plumbing and heating materials to construction sites and trade counters across the region. Operating either a 26T Volvo or 18T Mercedes, you'll ensure timely, safe, and professional service to customers and site teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Hiab-equipped vehicles to load and unload plumbing supplies
Deliver to building sites, trade counters, and commercial premises
Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with dispatch
Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
Uphold health and safety standards at all timesRequirements:
Valid Category C (Class 2) licence or above
Current Hiab certification (preferably with remote experience)
CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous experience in construction or trade deliveries preferred
Strong customer service skills and professional presentation
Punctual, dependable, and safety-consciousThis role offers a clear pathway to permanent employment for drivers who demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
