Job Description
We are currently recruiting a Class 1 Shunter Driver to support a busy agricultural seed company during their peak season in Elsham.. This is a temporary role for 13 weeks, with full-time hours.
Pay:
£17.93 P/h Inc Hol Pay
£16.00 per hour without
Role Details:
* Duration: 13 weeks (seasonal cover)
* Days: Monday to Saturday (5 or 6 days per week)
* Hours:
* Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
* Saturday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
* Overtime paid after 50hours at time and half
Key Responsibilities:
* Shunting trailers around the yard and site
* Moving units between loading and storage areas
* Hooking/unhooking trailers
* Ensuring safety and care in all movements on-site
* Working closely with warehouse and yard teams
Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 licence – essential
* Experience with shunting or yard work preferred
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Able to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
* Reliable and safety-conscious
