CareerMakers Recruitment is currently looking for reliable and experienced Class 1 Shunter Drivers for night shifts at the weekend in the Middleton area. This is a great opportunity to secure regular weekend night work with a well-established logistics company.
Role Details:
* Shift Pattern: Saturday and Sunday nights
* Location: Middleton, Greater Manchester
* Pay Rate: £17.90 per hour
* Type of Work: Trailer shunting between depots and within yard – no manual handling
Key Responsibilities:
* Safe movement of trailers in the yard and between on-site locations
* Yard shunting operations and trailer swaps
* Completing vehicle checks and reporting any issues
* Following health & safety and site procedures
* Communicating with transport office and yard staff
Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) UK Driving Licence
* Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph
* Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience
* Previous shunting experience preferred but not essential
* Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
