Job Description
Are you an experienced and reliable Class 1 Shunter Driver looking for a new challenge? We are currently recruiting for two dedicated drivers to join our team on a 6-month contract, servicing a reputable client based in Evesham.
Position Details:
Location: Evesham
Shift Pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off
Working Hours: 18:00 PM - 06:00 AM (Night Shifts)
Contract Duration: 6 months
Pay Rate: £18 - £20 per hour, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Shunting and maneuvering heavy goods vehicles within the yard and loading/unloading areas
Ensuring all vehicles are correctly positioned and safely secured
Conducting basic vehicle inspections and reporting any issues
Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies
Maintaining accurate records of shifts and vehicle movements
Candidate Requirements:
Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license
Proven experience in shunting and yard work
Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations
Reliable, punctual, and able to work night shifts
Good communication skills and team attitude
