Job Description
CLASS 1 DRIVER – TRAMPING | MANCHESTER (M43)
Up to £18 per hour + £28 Night Out Allowance
Based in Manchester – M43
Start Times From 6:00am Onwards | Monday to Friday
We’re looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 (Category C) Driver to join our team for a tramping role based out of Manchester (M43). This position involves overnight stays, with a generous £28 per night out allowance.
What We Offer:
Up to £17.00 per hour, paid weekly
£28 per night out allowance
Monday to Friday work (occasional weekend overtime)
Modern, well-maintained vehicles
Friendly, supportive transport team
Ongoing, consistent work
The Role:
Nationwide deliveries using a Class 1 vehicle
Overnight tramping required (typically 3–4 nights out per week)
Start times from 6:00am onwards
Secure and accurate handling of delivery paperwork
Regular communication with transport office
Requirements:
Valid Class 1 licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Minimum 6 months of driving experience preferred
Comfortable with nights away from home
Good communication and time management skills
