Class 1 Yard Operative - Brighouse - £13.29p/h
We’re looking for a proactive and reliable Yard Operative to join my client in Brighouse. In this role, you will be inspecting, fuelling, and preparing customer vehicles, supporting the smooth operation of our yard. You’ll also assist with general yard duties such as keeping the yard clean, tidy, and safe, while ensuring safety protocols are always followed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect, fuel, and prepare customer vehicles for collection or service
* Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe at all times
* Support the service team by ensuring vehicles are correctly positioned to aid workflow and improve efficiency
* Adhere to health and safety procedures and protocols
* Assist with general yard duties as needed
What We’re Looking For:
* Valid Class 1 license is essential
* Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
* Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
* Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a busy environment
* Reliable, safety-conscious, and proactive attitude
