Job Description

Driver Hire Uxbridge are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 ADR Cylinder Drivers (CAT C) for our gas supplier customer based in Uxbridge

£21.13 to £31.69 per hour incl. Holiday Pay

Monday to Friday 07:00 to 16:30

2 hour assesment and 4.5 days training given if assement is passed

All-round Duties:

  * Multi-drop deliveries (ADR Category 2)

  * Load vehicle with gas canisters between 18 - 36kg (trollies available to assist)

  * Safely connect gas cannisters for customers

  * Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues

  * Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fuel levels, tire pressure, and fluid levels

  * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

  * Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Requirements:

  * Valid UK CAT C licence for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points (no DR DD TT IN or MS90 endorsements)

  * Valid CPC, TACHO and ADR Certification

  * At least 1 year HGV Class 2 ADR driving experience (references required)

  * Physically fit, as this role is 50/50 driving and manual handling

  * Excellent verbal and written English skills to interact with customers and team members

  * Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
