Job Title: Class 2 ADR Driver
Location: Coalville, Leicestershire
Pay Rate: £16.92 per hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am start
Contract: Temporary
Sector: Logistics & Distribution
Overview
We’re looking for an experienced and safety-conscious Class 2 ADR Driver to join a well-established business in Coalville. This role involves the safe transport of hazardous waste and packaged ADR materials across regional and national routes. If you’re reliable, compliant, and confident working within ADR regulations, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
*
Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle transporting ADR-regulated hazardous materials
*
Carry out regional and national deliveries and collections
*
Complete all relevant paperwork accurately, including waste transfer notes and delivery documentation
*
Perform daily vehicle checks and promptly report defects
*
Maintain full compliance with ADR, Health & Safety, and environmental legislation
*
Communicate professionally with customers and depot staff
*
Support with loading/unloading when required, using correct handling procedures
*
Follow route plans and operational instructions
Requirements
*
Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
*
ADR qualification
*
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
*
Good understanding of ADR rules and safe working practices
*
Strong communication and organisation skills
*
Physically fit for manual handling duties
