Job Description

HGV Class 2 ADR Tanker Driver

Fawley, Southampton

Long-Term Contract | £16.93 per hour | £25.40 overtime | Paid training | Immediate starts

Solid, regular work through to May/June next year, with the opportunity to return on contract annually.

You’ll receive fully paid classroom and practical training and consistent, planned work through to at least May/June next year. Drivers who perform well will also have the opportunity to return annually, providing reliable seasonal work year after year.

This is a proessional, structured contract with the training, equipment & ongoing work already in place, this is not a short-term assignment.

Your Shifts

  * Day shifts

  * Typical start time of 6:00am

  * Average shifts of 8–10 hours

  * Additional hours paid at the overtime rate (after 45 hours)

  * Some flexibility may be required during busy periods

The Job

You’ll deliver gas products safely to commercial and domestic customers across the region.

The work includes:

  * Driving a Class 2 vehicle in line with ADR regulations

  * Completing scheduled deliveries to customer locations

  * Carrying out daily vehicle checks

  * Accurately completing delivery paperwork and electronic records

  * Following all transport, safety and operational procedures

  * Providing a professional service to customers

You’ll receive comprehensive classroom and practical training before completing the role independently.

What You Must Have

  * Valid Category C/Class 2 HGV licence

  * Valid ADR licence covering Tanks and Packages

  * Valid Driver CPC

  * Valid Digital Tachograph Card

  * Previous Class 2 driving experience

  * No more than six penalty points

  * No DR, DD or IN conviction codes

  * A reliable, safety-conscious and professional approach
