Job Description
CareerMakers Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity based in WF17.
This role involves delivering food products to restaurants and hospitality venues. It is a physically demanding position, so applicants must be comfortable with heavy manual handling and handball deliveries.
The Role
* Multi-drop deliveries to restaurants and hospitality customers.
* Complete 8–12 deliveries per shift.
* Heavy manual handling, including handball and cage work.
* Drive a range of vehicles from 7.5T up to 26T.
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
* Complete delivery paperwork and comply with company procedures.
* Work a 4-on-7 rotating shift pattern over an 8-week rota, including weekends.
Requirements
* Minimum 24 months' HGV Class 2 driving experience.
* Valid Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence.
* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
* Physically fit and comfortable with heavy manual handling.
* Reliable, professional and safety-conscious.
* Excellent time management and customer service skills.
What We Offer
* £16.92 per hour PAYE.
* £18.96 per hour (including rolled-up holiday pay).
* Consistent 10-hour shifts.
* Temp-to-perm opportunity with a well-established company.
* Weekly pay.
* Ongoing support from the CareerMakers Driving Team.
