Class 2 Driver – Day or Tramper – Southampton
TLP Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join our client’s growing team based in Southampton. This is a permanent role with immediate starts available.
Position Details:
* Job Title: Class 2 Driver (Day or Tramper)
* Location: Southampton
* Employment Type: Permanent
* Start Times:
* Local work: 07:00 – 17:00 (approx.)
* General Haulage: Start times may vary – flexibility required
Pay and Benefits:
* Weekly Gross (Basic): £691.20
* Overtime £16.10 after 48 hours weekly
* Night Out Allowance: £30 per night
Role Responsibilities:
* Local and national deliveries
* General haulage and palletised freight
* Ensuring timely and safe deliveries in line with company standards
* Completing paperwork and using digital tacho accurately
Requirements:
* Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Minimum 2 years Class 2 driving experience is essential
* A good understanding of driver hours and road safety regulations
* Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
