Job Description
Driver Hire Brighton & Eastbourne is recruiting skilled and reliable Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for our clients in the region. This role offers a fantastic variety of work, including multi-drop deliveries, warehouse trunking, and building materials distribution. If you are a qualified HGV driver looking for flexible, local work with a leading transport recruitment specialist, we want to hear from you.
What you'll need:
*
A valid Full UK Cat C (Class 2) Licence
*
Valid Driver CPC qualification
*
A valid Digital Tachograph Card
*
A positive, professional attitude and a strong focus on safety
*
Excellent timekeeping and navigation skills
*
Previous experience in a multi-drop or delivery driving role is preferred
*
Proof of Right to Work in the UK (Passport or other relevant documents)
*
No more than 6 points on your licence and no DR10 endorsements
About the role:
*
Operating a Class 2 rigid lorry safely and professionally on designated routes.
*
Performing multi-drop deliveries, warehouse trunking, or other logistics work as required.
*
Conducting thorough vehicle checks (defect sheets) and reporting any maintenance issues.
*
Ensuring all deliveries are made on time and to the correct location.
*
Adhering to all Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
*
Liaising with the transport office and customers in a professional manner.
*
Manual handling of goods may be required (Training provided).
