Class 2 Driver (Category C) – Biggleswade | £17.68 per Hour | Temp to Perm | Immediate Start

Interaction Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join a leading logistics company based in Biggleswade. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for stable, full-time work with the potential of a permanent position.

Pay & Benefits

£17.68 per hour
Weekly pay
Monday to Friday – no weekend work
Temp-to-perm opportunity

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
8:00am – 6:00pm
Start and finish times may vary slightly depending on daily delivery volumes and traffic conditions.
The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for completing multi-drop pallet network deliveries across the CB, CM and PE postcode areas.

Your daily duties will include:

Completing multi-drop pallet deliveries and collections
Carrying out curb side deliveries to commercial and residential customers
Using an electric pump truck to safely unload palletised freight
Conducting daily vehicle safety checks before commencing your route
Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time
Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld devices where required
Providing a professional and courteous service to customers at every delivery point
Following all road transport legislation, driver hours regulations and company procedures
Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy and roadworthy
What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you must have:

A valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
A valid Digital Tachograph Card
A minimum of 1 year's Class 2 driving experience
No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences
No DR, DD or IN endorsements
Be 21 years of age or over for insurance purposes
A positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations
A reliable and professional approach to work
