Job Description

Shunter – London

Location: London
Pay Rate: £17.73 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Shunter to join our team based in London. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role offering excellent working hours and a competitive hourly rate.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely move and position trailers and vehicles within the yard.
Carry out vehicle safety checks before movements.
Ensure all trailers are parked in the correct locations.
Maintain a safe and organised yard environment.
Work closely with the transport and warehouse teams to meet operational requirements.
Requirements:

Previous shunting or HGV yard experience preferred.
Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence (if required for the role).
Good understanding of yard safety procedures.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Excellent communication skills.
What We Offer:

£17.73 per hour.
