Job Description
About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and hardworking Class 2 Drayman Driver to join our delivery team. Working out of our [location] depot, you will be responsible for the delivery of kegs, casks, and other drinks products to pubs, bars, restaurants, and hospitality venues across the region.
This is a physically demanding role that involves manual handling and working as part of a two-person team to ensure timely and safe deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely deliver beer kegs, casks, and packaged goods to licensed premises.
Manoeuvre heavy loads using appropriate equipment such as sack barrows and tail lifts.
Accurately complete delivery paperwork and logbooks.
Provide exceptional customer service, acting as the face of the company.
Adhere to all road safety and driver regulations.
Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects.
Requirements:
Full UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling.
Previous dray work or multi-drop experience preferred but not essential.
Reliable, punctual, and professional with a team-oriented attitude.
