Job Title: Class 2 HGV Driver (with Mechanical Fitting)

Salary/Bonuses: £15.00–£17.00 per hour (Negotiable for the right candidate)
Neos Engineering are partnered with a leading plant hire and attachment specialist based in Bristol, currently seeking an experienced 18T Lorry Driver to join their growing team. This is a unique dual-role opportunity for individuals who enjoy being hands-on with machinery as well as being out on the road.
The Role
This is a full-time, self-employed position that offers a 50/50 split between mechanical fitting and driving duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and fitting hydraulic attachments to client-owned plant machinery across the region. A solid understanding of plant machinery and hydraulics is essential, as fitting duties are a key part of this role.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am – 5pm
The Candidate
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience driving 18T lorries
Confidence and competence in mechanical tasks, particularly involving hydraulic plant attachments
A full UK Driving Licence and valid Driver CPC Card
A proactive and professional approach to both customer service and technical duties
Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently on site
This role is only suitable for individuals who are equally comfortable with mechanical work as they are with driving.
