Job Description
HGV Class 2 Driver – Temp to Perm – £15.20ph – No Weekends!
Location: Birmingham
Pay Rate: £15.20 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – approx. 4:00pm
Holidays: 20 days + Bank Holidays
Benefits: Company pension, free parking, free safety boots, uniform provided upon permanent hire
Are you an experienced, reliable Class 2 driver looking for a stable role with great work/life balance? We’re looking for the right person to take the wheel of a brand-new lorry – someone trustworthy, dependable, and proud to keep the vehicle clean and presentable.
The Role:
Local deliveries only – no long-distance driving
Palletised deliveries only – no handball required
Typically 6–8 drops per day (often fewer)
Comfortable driving in and out of prison sites
Temp-to-perm opportunity with excellent long-term prospects
✅ About You:
Minimum 2 years’ Class 2 (Cat C) experience
Clean licence
A solid work ethic and professional attitude
Counterbalance FLT licence preferred (to assist with loading/unloading)
A good all-rounder who’s approachable, practical, and takes pride in their work
Once Permanent:
