Job: Class 2 Driver
Location: Crawley
Pay: £15.56 (£34,000 pa)
The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking Class 2 Drivers for our client in the Crawley area.
They would love someone to join their tight knit team to upskill them and support them with progressing their own career path.
The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Category C Licence, Digi tacho and CPC card.
Hours of Work:
* Monday to Friday: 05:00 starts being the earliest
* Overtime after 42 hours at time and a half.
* During the winter period hours may drop but salary remains the same.
Responsibilities of the Class 2 Driver:
* Safely operate and maintain a class 2 HGV vehicle in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations.
* Conduct routine pre and post trip vehicle inspections and report defects or maintenance needs.
* Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in good working order.
* Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently, considering delivery schedules and customer locations.
* Load and unload good onto the vehicle with care to prevent damage, handball/heavy lifting required.
* Complete all deliveries accurately and on time, obtaining proof of delivery as necessary.
* Provide excellent customer service by being polite, professional and responsive to customers’ needs and enquiries.
Requirements of the Class 2 Driver:
* Category C Licence.
* CPC.
* Digi Tacho.
