Job Description

Ambitions Personnel is currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to work for a public sector organisation in Spalding. The role is working 37 hours a week, 6am until 2pm, Monday to Friday, for 3 months+, with potential long term and permanent opportunities, for the right candidate.
The main duties will reverberate around driving Class 2 Waste Vehicles and assisting with the collection and loading of refuse/recycling, ensuring the effective completion of all daily tasks.
This will involve:
* Answering queries/helping members of the public, displaying excellent customer service skills.
* Driving Class 2 Vehicles safely, in the local area.
* Reporting any issues, such as fly tipping and littering etc.
* Returning keys and fuel cards to the supervisor after the completion of all daily tasks.
* Adhering to the organisation’s health, safety and information governance processes.
* Completing and returning all relevant paperwork.
* Making sure that the vehicle is checked, maintained and cleaned to an appropriate standard.
The ideal candidate will have undertaken a similar role previously. However, if you have a category C licence, have driven class 2 vehicles in a previous role, and are able to start ASAP, then do not hesitate to apply by using the online facility available.
