Class 2 Driver – Southampton
📍 Location: Southampton
🕓 Hours: 4:00am start – until finish
📅 Days: Monday to Friday + every other Saturday or Sunday
💰 Pay: £14.66 per hour (Reviewed after 12 weeks)
📄 Contract Type: Temp to Perm (12 Weeks)

A world-renowned name in fresh produce distribution, is seeking a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver to join our dedicated team in Southampton. If you enjoy early starts, consistent work, and a stable career in transport & logistics, this is the role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out 5 - 8 deliveries of fresh produce to retail and commercial customers
* Perform vehicle checks before and after your shift
* Accurately complete delivery paperwork and log sheets
* Maintain cleanliness and safety of your vehicle
* Deliver excellent customer service at each drop
* Follow all road safety laws and company protocols
* On occasion you will be required to drive 3.5t & 7.5t vehicles but paid at the same rate.
Requirements:
✅ Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
✅ Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
✅ Minimum 6 months experience in a Class 2 role preferred
✅ Strong understanding of delivery compliance and customer service
✅ Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
✅ Flexible to work weekends on rotation (Saturday or Sundays)
✅ Good geographical knowledge of South Coast / Hampshire region
