Class 2 Driver – Holiday Cover (August–October)
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary (Holiday Cover)
Agency: Pertemps, on behalf of a high-end, reputable materials company
Are you an experienced Class 2 driver looking for well-paid, straightforward work with minimal physical demands? Pertemps Hemel Hempstead has an excellent opportunity for a Class 2 Driver to join a respected materials supplier on a temporary holiday cover contract from August through October.
🔍 Role Details:
Type of Truck: Flatbed (All Automatic, with Satnavs)
Start Times: Between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM
Drops: Nationwide; 2–3 drops per day (max 7)
Physical Work: None – all loads offloaded by FLT on site
Your Only Task: Strap down the load securely
Induction: Quick and easy 30-minute session
Solo Work: One driver per truck – no crew
✅ Requirements:
Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience
Clean licence – No points or infringements
Confidence using straps (training can be provided if needed)
