Job Description
Class 2 Driver (Temp to Perm) – £13.50/hr – Immediate Start
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and flexible Class 2 Driver to join our team delivering food products to a variety of outlets.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering a great working environment and an immediate start.
Key Details:
* Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
* Start Time: From 6:00 AM (later starts may also be required)
* Location: Sunderland
* Job Type: Temp to Perm
* Start Date: Immediate
The Role:
* Multi-drop deliveries of food to retail and catering outlets
* May be required to drive a van on occasion (flexibility essential)
* Loading your own vehicle
* Occasional handling of cash
* Maintaining a professional and friendly attitude with customers
* Following all driving and safety regulations
Requirements:
* Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
* Maximum 6 points no DDR's
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Comfortable with early starts and occasional late finishes
* Willing to drive vans when required
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Role may involve some manual handling
