Job Description
Role: HGV Class 2 Dray Driver
Location: West Thurrock
Hours: 04:30 start time
Pay: £17.15 per hour
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a HGV Class 2 Dray Driver to join one of our extremely well-established clients in West Thurrock

* Minimum 8 hours paid per shift
HGV Class 2 Dray Driver Duties:
* Delivery of keg and cased goods to multiple customers across the South East (Kent, Chelmsford, Brighton, Eastbourne and London)
* Use and maintain delivery equipment
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and any discrepancies
* Operate delivery vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
* Follow company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
* Use manual handling equipment provided in accordance with Manual Handling procedures
* Regularly inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition (fuel, oil, etc)
* Maintain the cleanliness and professional presentation of the vehicle at all times.
* Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, providing excellent service and acting as a brand ambassador.
* Follow pre-planned route accurately
* Maintain communication with management to be informed of any change of delivery, route or schedule
* Inform management of any obstructions to making safe, efficient deliveries on time
Requirements for a HGV Class 2 Dray Driver:
* LGV 2 Licence
* Driver CPC and valid Digital Tachograph card.
* Good knowledge of UK road networks and delivery procedures.
* Experience in dray work
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
* Reliable, punctual, and customer-service focused.
