Job Description
HGV Class 2 Driver - Ely (CB6) | Temp to Perm | £15ph Nights Out Paid
A&G Resourcing Ltd is currently looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-known client based in Ely (CB6) - a leading manufacturer and supplier with a reputation for high quality and innovation.
Monday to Friday
Start Times: 05:00-06:00am
10-hour average shifts
£15 per hour PAYE holiday allowance
Once permanent £39,000pa (based on 50h a week plus bonus up to £3,120)
Nights Out: Occasional - paid £25 per night
Contract:Temporary to Permanent
Immediate Start Available!
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct daily vehicle checks
* Complete around 10 deliveries per day
* Load and unload products (manual handling involved)
* Handballing and heavy lifting required
* Ensure loads are strapped and secured
* Operate curtain-sided vehicles (curtain pulling required)
What We’re Looking For:
* UK driving licence (max 3 points)
* Valid CPC & Tacho Card
* Minimum 1 year of Class 2 driving experience
* Solid understanding of WTD and Drivers’ Hours
* Excellent customer service & communication skills
* Must be physically fit
* Reliable and flexible attitude
