About the role
The Recruitment Group are hiring for a Class 2 Driver. As a Class 2 Driver you would be carrying out Class 2 driving work with guaranteed hours and the option of overtime or night shifts. Most assignments will be within Hull, though occasional requirements further afield may arise. Standard Class 2 work is the main focus, but opportunities for Class 2 tipper truck work are also available for those interested.
Key Responsibilities
Driving Class 2 vehicles in line with role requirements
Optional tipper truck work depending on preference and availability
Ensuring safe and efficient deliveries and collections
Maintaining accurate paperwork and adhering to procedures
Complying with all road safety regulations and Working Time Directive requirements
Representing the company professionally at all times
What We’re Looking For
Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence with CPC and digital tachograph card
Previous Class 2 driving experience (tipper experience advantageous but not essential)
Strong knowledge of driving regulations and compliance requirements
Flexible and reliable approach to different assignments
Ability to work days, nights, and occasional shifts outside Hull when required
Benefits
Pay rates of £15.49 – £15.60 per hour
Standard overtime rates available
Guaranteed 10 hours per day worked
Opportunities for night work if desired
Optional Class 2 tipper truck work available
