Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Harlow
Pay Rate: £18.66 to £31.63 per hour
Shifts: Tuesday to Saturday - various Start Bands available - 48 hour working week
Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for reliable, experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team and play a vital role in keeping the supply chain moving. You will need to have your Class 2 licence and 12 months experience to be considered for this role.
What You'll Do:
Safely operate Class 2 vehicles on planned routes
Working in a 2 person crew
Home deliveries - prompt & safe deliveries are essential
Room to room deliveries - depending on Customer requirement
Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork
Paperwork for both the vehicle checks and the customer deliveries
Ensure timely and accurate deliveries or collections
Follow all driving laws and company procedures
Represent the company professionally at client sitesYou will be required to lift heavy items, and work in a 2 person team to handle bulky items.
What You Need:
A valid UK HGV Class 2 Licence with 12 months experience
A current UK Driver CPC (DCPC) card and a valid Digital Tachograph card
Up to 6 points accepted on licence (No DD, DR, CD, TT, IN endorsements)
A professional attitude and good communication skillsYou must be a UK resident to be considered for this opportunity. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
You will be required to complete a DBS check when you start.
