About the Job:
Based near Copthorne, our client are growing and are currently recruiting for various roles within the business. One of those Roles is a Class 2 HGV Delivery Driver. For this role you would be delivering Barrels of alcohol, and other miscellaneous items to the hospitality sector. Deliveries per day vary from 1-5 within London and the South, which will not include any over night stays or overly long days.
The role is simple in its entirety, but can be quite demanding physically. You will be handling 60kg barrels. Delivering to London, or the south depending on the week and of course the weather
Starting at 6/7am depending on the day, and potentially finishing mid afternoon. This job presents an amazing opportunity to grow as a driver and experience a varied role within the logistics/hospitality industry.
Whats on offer:
This role is ongoing but has the opportunity to go on Temp to Permanent, which means for 12 weeks you'll be employed through us and via a Umbrella Scheme. After which you will transfer over to the client and receive a contract of employment via PAYE.

About you:
An ideal candidate will have experience delivering in the logistics and hospitality industry. They will also have experience with Curtain Siders and Tail Lifts. They must also be competent in navigating and using provided Sat Nav systems and/or have a backup on their phone in the event the Sat Nav fails.
You must have an up to date CPC, and Tacho. Additionally, because of the handling of Alcohol this role may not fit for those who's religion/belief does not allow the handling of Alcohol.
Key Essential Points:
* Live within 10 miles of Crawley
* Up to date CPC, and Tacho.
* Full UK Class 2 license
* 2+ Years Class 2 Experience
* Own Transport to get to the depot
* Willingness to learn and adapt
* Be competent with Technology
