Location: Gloucester, GL1
Pay: £16.50/hour + overtime available
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00–17:00 (45 hours/week minimum)
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Job Overview
We’re hiring a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver for a temp-to-perm opportunity in Gloucester. This full-time role offers consistent weekday hours and the chance to transition into a permanent position with excellent benefits.
Responsibilities
* Complete multi-drop deliveries and collections within a designated area
* Load and unload goods safely, ensuring secure transport
* Perform daily vehicle checks using a company-issued device
* Communicate with the transport office to support delivery timelines
* Maintain high standards of legal compliance and road safety
* Represent the company professionally at client sites
Requirements
* Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
* Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
* Previous multi-drop experience preferred
* ADR qualification is a bonus (training available)
* Physically fit, self-motivated, and customer-focused
