Job Description
Class 2 drivers required for store deliveries, working from a depot in Livingston, West Lothian. Shift start times are generally between 04.00 - 06.00. The depot operates 7 days per week. Deliveries are made using refrigerated vehicles, roll cages, pallets and the use of a tail lift. There is ongoing work available upon completion of a successful driving assessment. A drug and alcohol test will be undertaken at point of induction.
Hourly rate starts from £16.16 per hour, overtime is paid after 45 hours at £21.54 per hour.
Daily requirements will include.
* Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
* Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
* Regular completion of vehicle checks
* Manual handling of customer products
Drivers must have held their licence for a minimum of 6 months and have no more than 6 points with no major endorsements.
