Class 2 HGV Driver – 4 on / 4 off
Location: Bellshill
Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour (paid weekly, every Friday)
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off
Start Times: Between 16:00 – 18:00
About the Role
Apex Resources are currently recruiting Class 2 HGV Drivers (Category C) to work on a major distribution contract based in Bellshill.
This is an excellent opportunity for professional HGV Class 2 drivers, whether you are newly qualified or experienced, looking for ongoing, full-time driving work with a well-established client.
You will be responsible for carrying out store deliveries across Scotland and surrounding areas, ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operating a HGV Class 2 vehicle in line with UK road transport legislation.
* Completing multi-drop deliveries to retail stores.
* Carrying out vehicle checks / defect reporting.
* Completing all necessary delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records.
* Providing excellent customer service at each delivery point.
* Adhering to Health & Safety, CPC, and company procedures at all times.
Requirements
* Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
* Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.
* Previous multi-drop delivery driving experience is desirable but not essential.
* Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
* Reliability and commitment to the 4 on / 4 off shift pattern.
What We Offer
* £16.00 per hour, paid weekly every Friday.
* Consistent rota of 4 on / 4 off shifts.
* Regular afternoon/evening start times between 16:00 – 18:00.
* Ongoing, long-term HGV driving work with opportunities for progression.
