Job Description
The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in Weybridge area.
We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team on nights
Hours:
Full time position
Shifts can range between Monday to Sunday on a rotational basis (23:59pm starts)
Pay Rate:
Nights £ 17.37 per hour PAYE
Location: Weybridge, KT13
Job Type: Permanent
The role:
* Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
* Handling runs with 4-5 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
* Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
* Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
* Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
* Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
* No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
* Full understanding of WTD legislation.
* Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
* Excellent communication skills.
* A safety-first mindset.
