JR211: Class 2 Removals Driver
Location: Bristol
Salary: Up To £29,952 Per Annum
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Class 2 Removals Driver on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
LGV driving
Warehouse duties as required
Ensuring compliance with driving time directive and legislation
Responsible for the legal operation of the vehicle - including locking, parking, cleaning, fuelling etc.
Daily checks on vehicle - oil, water, lights, fluids, tires
Report on any damage to vehicle or its load
Read and receive daily orders
Ensure adequate packing materials and equipment are on the van for the day’s job(s)
Complete legal and Company documentation
Packing assorted household/office goods
Transporting household/office goods to/from vehicle
Liaising with customer regarding placement of effects and unpacking where required
Ensure paperwork for each move is complete and return to general office
Carry out further tasks exigent to the circumstances of the Company
Skills and Qualifications:
Class 2 Licence
Driver CPC Card
Digital Tacho Card
Physically fit
Excellent customer service skills
