Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roll Off Driver to join our client based around Dudley area. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a roll-off vehicle to transport waste and recycling materials. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to interact positively with customers while ensuring timely deliveries.
Responsibilities
* Operate roll-off vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
* Load and unload containers at designated sites, ensuring proper handling of materials.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including customer signatures and any discrepancies.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
* Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to waste transport.
* Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle.
Skills
* Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with roll-off or flatbed vehicles.
* Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting waste materials.
* Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and colleagues.
* Good organisational skills to manage delivery schedules efficiently.
Requirements:
* C licences
* No DR or DD
* No more than 6 Points
* Experiences Ro- Ro recycling
