HGV Class 2 Skip Driver
The Best Connection Group – Ashton-under-Lyne
£15 – £22.50 per hour – Permanent, Full-Time
The Best Connection Group are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to work for a well-established client based in the Ashton-under-Lyne area. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term, full-time role with competitive pay, a modern fleet, and supportive working conditions.
What We Offer:
* Competitive hourly rate: £15.00 – £22.50 per hour (based on experience and overtime)
* Safety & performance bonus (up to £1,300 per year)
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week (with overtime available)
* Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours
* Monday to Friday schedule (occasional Saturday work)
* full-time position with immediate start available leading to perm
* Discounted or free food
Your Responsibilities:
* Driving Class 2 RORO and skip vehicles across the North West
* Collecting and delivering skips to a range of commercial and domestic clients
* Representing the company professionally at all times when visiting customer premises
* Completing all necessary vehicle checks and paperwork accurately
About You:
* Must hold a valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required
* Minimum 1 year of relevant driving experience preferred
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
* Good communication and customer service skills
