Job Title: HGV Class 1 Tanker Driver
Location: Somerset

Duration: 7 Months

Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Tanker Driver to join our team for a long-term contract based in Somerset. This role involves the transportation of water-based bitumen to various sites, ensuring all deliveries are carried out safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Safe and timely delivery of water-based bitumen

  * Operating tanker vehicles in line with all road and safety regulations

  * Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects

  * Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork

  * Adhering to all health & safety procedures on-site and on the road

Requirements:

  * Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence

  * Valid CPC

  * Digital Tachograph Card ( Not Essential )

  * Previous tanker experience is preferred but not essential

  * Strong understanding of driver hours and regulations

  * Good communication and reliability
