Job Duties:
The Class Teacher in Hayes is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons to primary school students. They must create a positive learning environment, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and assess student progress through various methods. The Class Teacher will also collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the overall development and well-being of students.
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Enhanced DBS Certificate
Previous Teaching Experience
Passion for Teaching
Education:
A relevant teaching qualification and a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
Experience:
Demonstrable experience in teaching primary school students, implementing effective teaching strategies, and managing classroom dynamics.
Knowledge and Skills:
Proactive approach to teaching
Strong Behaviour Management Skills
Excellent Communication and Time Management Skills
Adaptability to different learning styles and student needs
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or experience working with diverse student populations.
Working Conditions:
The Class Teacher role in Hayes involves working during school hours, with additional time required for lesson planning, assessments, and parent meetings. The role may also involve participation in extracurricular activities and school events.
