Job Title: Primary PMLD Teacher (0.6 FTE) (Permanent)
Pay rate: £32,916 - £45,352 + SEN Allowance £2,787 (pro-rata for 0.6 FTE = 19.5 hours/week)
Location: Stratford-upon-Avon
Hours: Part-time, 0.6 FTE (19.5 hours/week), term-time
Smart Education is currently recruiting for a permanent Primary PMLD Teacher (0.6 FTE) to join an inclusive and supportive special school in Stratford-upon-Avon from January 2026.

Job requirements:
• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) ECT will also be considered for this post
• Must hold a valid child/adult enhanced DBS
• Experience teaching pupils with PMLD or complex special educational needs
• Ability to plan and deliver differentiated lessons that meet individual learning needs
• Strong communication and collaborative skills, with a commitment to inclusive education
Role responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging, personalised learning for primary-aged pupils with PMLD
• Support the holistic development of pupils, including social, emotional, and communication skills
• Work closely with teaching assistants and the wider multidisciplinary team to meet individual pupil needs
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
• Uphold the school’s ethos of high expectations, mutual respect, and preparation for independence
