The Role at a Glance
Full-time teaching responsibility for a Year 5 class
Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
Establish high standards of behaviour, effort and achievement
Use assessment to identify gaps and adapt teaching accordingly
Work closely with support staff to meet individual pupil needs
Contribute to wider school activities and the life of the school

Has QTS and recent UK primary teaching experience
Has strong classroom and behaviour management
Can motivate pupils with different abilities and learning needs
Is organised, reliable and confident working independently
Builds positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families
Is committed to inclusive practice and continuous improvementECTs with strong placement experience may be considered, although the school is particularly interested in teachers with a proven track record in the classroom.
