Year 5 Class Teacher (part time Job Share) - Walthamstow, Waltham Forest
Salary: Main Scale Pay 2-6
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Full-time, term time only
Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and creative two-form entry Primary School in Walthamstow, Waltham Forest, in their search for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Class Teacher to join their team on a job share basis (3 days p/w) from January 2026.
This role would suit a teacher with a passion for Key Stage 2 learning who enjoys working within a creative curriculum and values a balanced approach to education. You will be working 3 consecutive days (either Mon-Weds or Weds-Fri) and will get PPA time and where you will plan for your allocated subjects.
The successful candidate will work closely with an experienced partner teacher to plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge pupils. You will be supported by a dedicated leadership team, excellent teaching assistants, and a collaborative staff community that values teamwork and professional development.
The school offers children a balanced, creative curriculum and you will be supported with excellent, supportive leadership as well as a friendly school community where children are generally well behaved and engaged in their learning.
