Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and adaptable KS1 & KS2 Class Teacher to work across a variety of primary schools in South Somerset, including Yeovil and surrounding towns and villages. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers who enjoy variety, thrive in different classroom settings, and are able to travel locally within the South Somerset area.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum

Create an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment

Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
*
Collaborate with school staff and contribute to the wider school community
*
Maintain high standards of behaviour and safeguarding
Requirements:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
*
Recent experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2
*
Strong classroom management and a flexible, proactive attitude
*
Willingness and ability to travel to schools across South Somerset
*
Good understanding of the current curriculum and safeguarding practices
