This is a unique opportunity to join an exceptional special school for pupils aged 3 to 19, currently supporting 228 young people.

You Will:
Lead a class team with confidence and curiosity
Encourage creative, solution-focused collaboration
Model outstanding teaching and set high expectations
Plan highly individualised learning, often creating new approaches tailored to student needs
Play a key role in Annual Reviews and work closely with families to shape shared priorities
Actively listen to every voice around the learner and reflect this in your planning and support
Lead on performance development within your class team
Support teaching and learning through coaching and training
Collaborate with Curriculum Leaders on curriculum planning and assessment
Contribute to school-wide improvement through monitoring and evaluation
Ensure safeguarding and communication with families is strong and consistent
Help narrate each pupil’s journey and identify areas for growth
Take part in the everyday running and organisation of the school
Take on additional professional duties as delegated by the Headteacher
Experience:
Previous experience in a SEND setting is not essential — what matters most is your dedication, creativity, and drive to ensure every learner thrives.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
