Job Description
ITS Industrial are recruiting for a Bodyshop Technician / Paint Sprayer to join our clients team. Working in our coachbuilding / bodyshop department, you will join our clients growing team of highly skilled technicians.
This is a full time, permanent post working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with the possibility to cover these hours flexibly by negotiation, whilst still meeting business needs. The role in the coachbuilding / bodyshop department involves the preparation and painting of vehicles.
This is a challenging, interesting and varied role where the successful candidate will join a specialist team restoring classic and vintage cars, using a newly installed paint booth and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation and spray painting of vehicles to the highest standards
* Refinishing, reassembly, and panel fabrication as part of full restorations
* Operation and maintenance of the spray booth, including safety checks
* Use of appropriate PPE and adherence to health and safety procedures
* Responsible disposal of materials and general workshop cleanliness
* Working independently as well as collaboratively within a skilled team
Essential Skills & Experience
* Minimum 2 years professional experience in bodywork and refinishing
* Experience preparing vehicles for paint and operating a spray booth
* Skilled in panel beating and fabrication
* Familiarity with COSHH regulations and safe workshop practices
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
* Full UK driving licence
* Professional and polite communication skills
* Reliable, punctual, and capable of managing your own workload
* Passion for craftsmanship and continuous professional development
