Vehicle Technician Required in Uckfield, East Sussex
Salary: £45,000
Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:30, No Saturdays
Dealership Type: Independent Garage & Classic Car SpecialistOur client, an independent garage specialising in classic BMWs and Porsches, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their team. The workshop handles everything from full body restorations to regular servicing, providing a relaxed, non-dealership environment where each job is carefully priced, and there’s no pressure to meet strict time targets.

Competitive salary ranging from £25,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:30 with no Saturdays

Carry out diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on a range of classic cars, especially BMWs and Porsches, amongst other brands
Full body restoration work alongside normal servicing tasks
Conduct thorough inspections and identify issues, with the freedom to take the time needed to fix them properly
Collaborate with the small team of technicians to deliver high-quality work on every job
Ensure all work complies with the highest standards of vehicle restoration and repairWhat our client expects from their Vehicle Technician:
A well-rounded skill set in vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing
Experience working with classic cars is highly desirable
Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
