Guildford Area
A specialist workshop renowned for high-quality work on iconic vehicles is seeking an experienced Classic Car Technician to join its growing team.
With a competitive basic salary up to £45,000, Monday to Friday hours, free onsite parking, and in-house training, it’s a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about classic motoring.
This role offers the chance to work on beautifully engineered classics from the 1950s through to the 1970s in a well-equipped environment, alongside a supportive and knowledgeable team.
Responsibilities:
* Carrying out maintenance, repairs, and restorations on classic vehicles from the 1950s–1970s
* Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults with care and precision
* Preparing vehicles for road and show use to the highest standard
* Ensuring all work is completed to exacting quality and safety standards
* Supporting the wider team on specialist restoration projects
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience as a vehicle technician, ideally with exposure to classic car restoration
* Strong knowledge of vehicle electrics and mechanics, with particular advantage for Jaguar experience
* Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
* Genuine passion for classic and performance cars
Benefits:
* Salary: Up to £45,000 basic
* Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm (40 hours)
* Holidays: 20 days + bank holidays
* Benefits: Free onsite parking, in-house training, good working environment with a supportive team
* Overtime: Occasionally available, paid at flat rate
