Job Description

Classroom Assistant

Crowborough

Monday – Friday

08:30am – 03:30pm

£89 daily

The Role:

  * working with students 1:1 or delivering sessions with small groups of students

  * taking children on trips and visits

  * celebrating success

  * supporting teachers in the classroom

  * Supporting students with activities of daily living, including personal care and mobility assistance.

  * Monitoring and recording student progress, and providing feedback to the teaching team.

The School:

We are working with a fantastic SEN all through school in the Crowborough area. Their aim is to ensure that all children can learn without fear of judgement and that they feel valued and seen. The students have moderate learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties or profound multiple learning difficulties. The school boasts some lovely facilities, like a beautiful outdoor wooded area for the students to explore. The school is a multi-site covering a Primary, secondary and 6th form setting.

Availability:

  * Monday - Friday (Full and Part Time)

  * Must be available between 8.30 and 3.30

  * Term Time only

  * Ability to work well independently and as a team

  * Has a passion to support and empower children and young people

  * Commitment to safeguarding students and young people
